Sonic Haze | Starr Hill
I was excited to start the weekend with Sonic Haze, the newest addition to Starr Hill's incredibly solid lineup.
This tiny but mighty hazy IPA is a “blast” of Galaxy, Mosaic, and Falconer’s Flight hops and is the perfect easy drinking beer to keep stocked in your fridge.
Starr Hill has always had a special place in my heart. They were close to UVA where I went for undergrad so they make me think of pizza in Crozet, live music, and sharing beers with friends on warm spring nights.
They were kind enough to send this new release my way and as soon as I saw the speakers on the label, I knew I wanted to create a photo inspired by the iconic "Blown Away Guy" ad from Maxell. This involved having my husband blast me in the face with a leaf blower but at this point it's not even close to the strangest thing I've done in the name of beer.
